The Vivotek VS2403 Video Server will convert any 4 items with composite video outputs, such as CCTV cameras or DVRs in to an MJPEG IP video stream. It has 4 BNC sockets for video inputs, 4 alarm inputs, a relay output and a 10/100MB network socket for quick and easy connection to a local or wide area network (Internet). The VS2403 also has an RS232 port and an RS485 port, these can be connected to compatible PTZ cameras or Speed Domes, allowing them to be controlled remotely. The built in web server allows it to be accessed quickly and easily from Internet Explorer from any other PC on the same network or across the internet. To prevent unauthorised access the units feature multilevel multi user password protection. In addition to the web server access the camera is also supplied with Vivotek's 16 Camera MJPEG DVR software which allows viewing, configuring and recording of up to 16 Vivotek MJPEG cameras & Video Servers.
